It’s not an enviable role, but Niall fills it admirably, and even manages to sell the idea that Adam is also a reader without it becoming contrived. He’s a good bickerer, and Frozen in Love is absolutely about two bickerers who fall in love. Still, I was hoping for a little bit more spark.
Matter remains too level outside his network-mandated bickering.
